I had a wonderful experience at La Costenita in Greensboro, NC, thanks to the exceptional service from our waitress, Abigail. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. When my food arrived and I noticed it was cold, I let Abigail know, and she was immediately apologetic and handled the situation with such professionalism and care. She quickly took the plate back and assured me it would be fixed right away. Not long after, the manager, Summer, came to our table to personally check in. She was just as kind and genuinely concerned, offering to make things right in any way she could. Thanks to both Abigail and Summer, my meal was promptly replaced, and the second dish came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Their quick response and customer service turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a memorable and positive one. I truly appreciate how both Abigail and Summer went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. This level of care and hospitality is rare and definitely worth recognizing. I will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend La Costenita to anyone looking for great food and even better service! Thank you, Abigail and Summer!
Such a cute, local restaurant! There is plenty of seating, not too crowded, and it's an overall fun night out vibe. My college student took me there. It was a Friday night and a DJ started playing music. The server was very sweet and checked on us consistently. I had the birria eggrolls and they were amazing! We never had to ask for anything. I'll definitely go back when I visit my student again.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting with vibrant decor and friendly staff. The service was attentive and quick without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely fantastic fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chips and salsa served at the start were also a standout crispy, warm chips and a salsa with just the right amount of kick.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to dine, with incredibly friendly staff who always make me feel welcome. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food is very authentic. Hands down the best Birria in the Triad area! Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. I love the margaritas as well prices are amazing as well.
Today was my first time trying the Birria Pizza, and it was so well-seasoned and super cheesy. Summer was my server she was really nice and super helpful with helping me choose what to eat. Well be back next Taco Tuesday :)!!
I can't say enough about the elote! Loved it. Loved it!!!! My other food was delicious also. Went here for my daughter's graduation from UNCG! TOLD to choose where she wanted to dine. This was it. They did well with accommodating our party.
My new favorite Mexican restaurant! I didn’t want the typical Mexican that you find in every other restaurant and this place came highly recommended for more traditional central Mexico dishes. I came in a little late after the dinner rush; around 8 pm. Sit wherever you can find a table and I was greeted quickly with chips by Jackie. I ordered guacamole thinking it would be just served in a bowl but was served freshly made and very tasty guacamole, with fresh salad, cut cucumbers topped in chamoy sauce. Very tasty! My next order was the Quesa Birria. Delicious meat perfectly cooked stuffed in between a soft flour shell with cheese and a side of dipping a’ju and it was fantastic! I love Cheladas and it was on par with nice seasoning and not watered down. The chamoy came through in every sip. My last dish was the Pizza Birria, which I saw posted from a Tik-Tok food video review and wow! This is a meal by itself. Delicious beef, cooked so tender and stuffed with peppers and cheese. The dipping sauce or a’ju is the key to this dish with savory flavors, fresh onions and cilantro. I can’t wait for my next visit! Thanks to Summer and Jackie for a great experience. Summary! Guacamole is fresh and tasty. The the garish! Birria - Any of them! Can’t find in typical Mexican restaurants and if you love beef and flavor this is the dish for you!
